Fisher 25

Ondanks dat de Fisher 25 de kleinste in de serie is, heeft ze alle traditionele goede eigenschappen van haar grotere zusterschepen in zich.

Daardoor is de 25 een perfect schip voor zowel dagtochten langs de kust als langer verblijf aan boord. Ondanks haar compacte formaat geeft de 25 nog steeds het gevoel aan boord van een groot jacht te staan. Ook het vaargedrag is dermate aantrekkelijk, dat het een uitermate geschikt schip is voor schippers die een stapje terug willen doen qua formaat maar niet aan kwaliteit en stijl willen inleveren.

In tegenstelling tot haar grotere zusterschepen heeft de Fisher 25 een platte spiegel. Hierdoor ontstaat een grote comfortabele kuip die voldoende ruimte biedt voor bediening van de zeilen of te relaxen na een dag varen.

De 25 wordt geleverd met een kitch of sloep tuigage en zoals bij elke Fisher kan ze vanuit de kuip bestuurd worden met de helmstok of vanuit het comfortabele stuurhuis. Het interieur mag ten opzichte van andere 25 voeters imposant genoemd worden, en biedt ruimte voor maximaal 5 slaapplaatsen.

The smallest in the range, but with all the traditional virtues to be found in her larger sister yachts, the 25 is the perfect coastal cruiser whilst also being capable of longer passages. Inspite of her compact size the 25 still retains the ‘big’ boat feel with a performance that attracts many experienced yachtsmen who are ‘downsizing’ from larger yachts but are still looking for quality and style.

Unlike her bigger sisters the Fisher has a transom stern (not canoe) and provides for a large and comfortable cockpit for working sails and relaxing. Options include sloop or ketch rig and the 25 like all Fishers can be steered from the tiller or from the comfort of the wheelhouse.

The ‘Tardis’ like interior, impressive by any standards for a 25 footer can be fitted out with up to five berths. This remarkable little yacht was first produced in 1975 and to date over 250 have been built.
